Our Pediatric Dentists are dedicated to improving and maintaining children’s oral health. Dr. Mohamed and his highly trained staff are committed to making your child’s first dental visit a pleasant and comfortable one. About Growing Smiles
Dr. Mohamed completed his training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Pediatric dentists, or “Pedodontist”, specialize in children’s dentistry and are devoted to children’s needs. This requires additional years of training in pediatric residency beyond general dentistry. Pediatric dentists are trained specifically, among other things, in growth and development, child psychology, medical complications, treatment of children with special needs, trauma, and orthodontic treatment. During his speciality training, Dr. Mohamed also obtained a Masters in Public Health.
We are a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. We practice within AAPD Guidelines and support AAPD Oral Health Practices.

Growing Smiles CDC’s mission is to provide specialized, comprehensive oral health care for infants, children, and adolescents in a fun, stress-free environment. Our goal is to help your children have excellent oral health and to grow into adulthood free of dental disease or fears.
